List it! List it real good!

This edition of Tuesday's list was inspired by my friend and attorney Rachel. Thanks, Rach!

Top 5 things I'm gobbling (metaphorically and actually) up right now

1. Parks and Recreation: they are killing it this year. Treat yoself!

2. Mindy Kaling's new book, "Is everyone hanging out without me?" Like Bossypants for a single gal.

3. Dove damage therapy conditioner: my hair has never been so soft!

4. Doug Burr's album O, Ye Devestator. Sad and lovely.

5. Reese's peanut butter trees, forever and ever. Amen.

  1. Dear Ashley, we should totally get together for a Treat Yoself! weekend.

  3. Shut the front door! What are these trees you speak oif and where can I find them?

  4. 1. The promise that summer may actually be over.
    2. Modern Family. We're late to this party but glad to be invited.
    3. The Chuy's that opened up right by our new house.
    4. Our new house.
    5. Fall and Christmas seasonal brews. Shiner Cheer, I'm looking at you.

(also, I totally second everything on your list- especially the underappreciated Doug Burr)

  5. I've eaten a tree already, and it was glorious. I think I got it at Walgreen's. It made me stop complaining about Christmas decorations being out at the stores before TG.

  6. I don't know what a Reese's Peanut Butter Tree is, but I will have one before the sun sets tonight. I also think it's cool that you are listening to an album from someone from my high school class!

    1. Boss. It's like the folks at Starz made a show just for me.

    2. Boardwalk Empire. As awesome as the first season was, I love this season even more.

    3. Angry Birds. I'm so deep down the rabbit hole that I'm replaying every level in every version to get three stars.

    4. Seghesio 2007 Marian's Reserve. It's an old-school field blend of zinfandel, petite syrah, and carignane. It's also incredibly delicious.

    5. To second one of Rachel's, Chuy's. In Denton! Jesus food coma Christ that place is filled with tastiness! I think I've eaten there at least once a week for the last month. I'm almost certain creamy jalapeno makes anything better.
