It's Tuuuuuuuuesday!

It's the most wonderful time of the year: Thanksgiving!

Top 5 favorite Thanksgiving dishes

1. Dressing: cornbread dressing, of course. Not stuffing, holy salmonella, Batman!

2. Sweet potatoes: tastes like dessert!

3. Deviled eggs! I will steal them right off the platter when no one's looking.

4. Pecan pie, and don't ruin it with cool whip or some such nonsense.

5. Seconds on dressing, please.

Happy TG, y'all! Who's wearing elastic waistband pants?

  1. Stuffing, in the bird. My mom has perfected the method. She bakes the turkey in a bag so it juicy even until the stuffing comes to the correct temperature. No salmonella for me!

Our stuffing is not cornbread, it's just regular bread and I love it (garlic too, FTW)

    Turkey

    Sweet potatoes
    Mashed potatoes with gravy

    pumpkin pie

And this year I am making homemade pumpkin brioche crescent rolls. Yum!

  4. I'm pre-stretching jeans now for the big day. You know I would never be seen in elastic-waist pants unless I'm in bed or at the gym.

    1. Sweet potatoes. Mmmmmm.
    2. Cream corn.
    3. Pumpkin pie.
    4. Pecan pie.
    5. Mashed potatoes with lots of gravy.

If all goes well though, Ashley's pumpkin cake might just knock pecan pie out of the top five. I'll let you know if I do it justice!
